What did former PM Johnson do that was so wrong? There were so many “experts” giving advice on how governments should respond to the crisis. There is no doubt that political consideration influenced decisions. Everyone seems to believe that he could have conveyed a greater degree of seriousness over the pandemic. This apparent lack of empathy might have been a result of the former PM’s style of governing. I don’t think he owes anyone an apology.
